The Food Stamp Program is an excellent resource to increase your food budget. It can increase your food resources so you are able to buy the quantity of food you need and buy the foods you like.

The Food Stamp Program office will determine if you and your family are eligible to participate in the program. You may be able to get food stamps if you:

•  Work for low wages
•  Are unemployed or work part time
•  Receive welfare or other public assistance payments
•  Are elderly or disabled and live on a small income
•  Are homeless
