Garden Tortilla Wraps

Makes 1 serving
 
Ingredients

1 10-inch flour tortilla
1 tablespoon ranch dressing
½ cup raw spinach
½ cup chopped or shredded vegetables such as carrots, tomatoes or peppers
2 tablespoons shredded cheese (optional)
1 slice of turkey (optional)

Directions

  1. Spread ranch dressing on flour tortilla.
  2. Cover with raw spinach (shredded, torn or whole leaves).
  3. Add other vegetables, cheese and turkey.
  4. Roll up tortilla.
  5. Serve with ranch dressing for dipping.

Tips

  • Try whole wheat tortillas for a new taste and added fiber.
  • Tortilla wraps make a great lunch.  Wrap in plastic wrap and take with you for a healthy and low cost lunch.
  • Flour or corn tortillas can be frozen and defrosted one at a time.
  • Kids love to make wraps.  They can add their favorite vegetables and make their own wrap.  Kids who make their own food are more likely to try new things.
