Baked Potato and Toppings

Makes 1 serving

Ingredients

1 baked potato
1 topping
2 tablespoons grated cheese

Potato Toppings

  1. Chili
  2. Spaghetti sauce
  3. Cooked broccoli  
  4. Salsa (add lettuce and tomato for a taco potato)

Directions

  1. Wash potato and pierce with a fork.
  2. Microwave on high for about 16 minutes (turn over after 8 minutes).
  3. Carefully cut open the potato.
  4. Top each potato with one of the toppings. 
  5. Top with grated cheddar or mozzarella cheese.

Tips

  • Add leftover chicken or ground beef to make a well-rounded dinner.
  • Try eating the skin of the potato to boost the fiber in your meal.
