Staying motivated

  • Set clear, short-term goals and reward yourself when you achieve them.
  • Don't get discouraged. It may be months before you notice changes from exercise. But they will come.
  • Set goals for your exercise program. Make those goals more difficult over time so you feel challenged.
  • The more variety you have in your exercise program, the more likely you will continue.
