I am overweight and I am trying to get back in shape, but I never want my children to go through what I have gone through in childhood or adulthood.

I noticed that my fifteen year old daughter has had this discoloration around her neck. We met with her doctor and they gave us a lab form for her to be tested for diabetes and cholesterol level. She's also, ten pounds over weight.

Healthy eating should begin as soon as children are concieved! If this was the practice, obesity could be avoided to a large degree.

its not so much over weight vs under weight as it is just simply concerned with them making healthy life style choices for their overall wellness

I didn't become over weight intil something bad happen to me as a teenager so I'm not worry about that my children are skinny right now and I have my children eating healthy right now. So I am concern about them eating right when I'm not home because my husband eats differant.
